i have a blog!!
i saw the presidents of the united states of america (that band who wrote that song "peaches") on friday. it was surprisingly not bad (although that could have been the whiskey sours enjoying the show for me).
also saw bruce mcculloch do a show with jeanine garofalo, and kevin mcdonald, and jeff garland. that was really great.
sometimes i really enjoy living in/near los angeles.
100th post
so i'm engaged, and that's good. i'm glad to see in the comments that you are all excited and stuff.
i had a talk with my boss today that lasted about 2 hours, and he optimistically decided that the new idea we are working on will change the way people do experiments and process metallic glass drastically for the better.
my woman's basketball team is trampling their way through the NCAA basketball tournament.
i have a rugby match on saturday.
all in all, i'm having a pretty good day.
also,
this is the funniest website i have ever read.
this one has it's
great moments too.
oh yeah, and i can't get to the florx7 blog anymore either. maybe it's been because of my inactive blogging techniques.
Let me introduce you to my financier
so jane and i got engaged last night. thought some of the world might be interested.
woo hoo
it's amazing how much difference a day makes. the future even looks more bearable now.
residue of the day
i guess i shouldn't really lie to you. you're all my friends. i know exactly why i'm sad today. i just don't feel like sharing.
out of . . . it
i'm having a bit of an odd/off day. i'm a little hungry, but i just ate. i'm a little tired, but i slept plenty. i'm a little sad, and i'm not sure why. i'm feeling a bit out of touch with people because they're trying to go places and do things and talk to me, but i'd rather be left alone. it's a cloudy day in southern california, and my mood seems to match it today.

i just started reading this comic called
dresden codak and in devouring the archives of comics, i came across one of the most awesome sentences i've ever read in the text post that accompanied one of the comics:
"Klingons are loud, smelly and are in no way related to Patrick Stewart, the World's Best Human."
also, i know i've been back from europe for like 3 weeks now and haven't posted any words or pictures about the trip, but i guess you'll have to wait 'cause i'm lazy.
